« Sisowath Quay » received the Jury at Siam Anima. The festival is held in Bangkok, Thailand, the country from which the creature that inspired us for the film (ahp in Khmer or krasue in Thai) originated. We are all the more delighted that the prize was awarded by Sompot Chidgasornpongse, a talented Thai filmmaker and long-time collaborator of Apichatpong Weerasethakul. His films have been screened at major festivals including Rotterdam, Oberhausen, Visions du Réel, Berlinale…

« Quai Sisowath » a remporté le prix du Jury à Siam Anima. Le festival se tient à Bangkok en Thaïlande, pays duquel est issu la créature dont nous nous sommes inspirés pour le film (ahp en Khmer ou krasue en Thaï). Nous sommes d’autant plus heureux que le prix a été decerné par Sompot Chidgasornpongse, talentueux cinéaste thaïlandais et collaborateur de longue date d’Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
